Hi, after a day in the garden when the soil still smells under my fingers, I sit down with a brush and put on soft music. Painting by a lit soy candle is my way to unwind – sometimes a landscape from the garden appears, sometimes just color patches that only make sense to me. In museums I like to linger in front of one painting longer than the whole exhibition, and I go to the cinema for screenings where we can talk about small details for an hour afterward. I’m looking for a man who understands that these everyday rituals create real closeness – someone who doesn’t rush, whether in the garden, during a film or over a cup of tea.
