I like starting the day sanding an old dresser and bringing back its original color – it clears my head. Later I sometimes pick up the guitar and play quietly just for myself. Once or twice a week I play squash because I enjoy movement that doesn’t require talking. I’m looking for a patient, warm man who doesn’t push for instant closeness. Someone who understands that silence can mean comfort, not disinterest.
