I like starting the day with some stretching by the open window, then settling in with knitting needles and a simple pattern that keeps my hands busy while my mind wanders. Sometimes I’ll play a quick chess game online or catch a film at the old cinema. I can map out a weekend so everything runs smoothly, yet I’m just as happy to drop everything and head to a museum on a whim because there’s an interesting exhibition on. I’m looking for a guy who gets this rhythm – someone who sometimes wants quiet focus and other times is ready to move without a big plan.
