Most days I keep things in order and handle everything myself, but once the laptop is shut I like spreading a crossword on the table and filling it in slowly or flipping through old catalogues for the next vintage dress. After work I often test recipes from the cooking workshops I attend. Genealogy pulls me in for hours too – I study old papers and piece together family stories. I would really like someone beside me who simply shows up, listens when needed and shares his own day. Someone to walk with in tracksuits and laugh about ordinary things.
