Some days I lose track of time in the garden, repotting plants and watching them settle into their own rhythm. Later I bake bread, working the dough slowly until the smell takes over the kitchen. In the evening I might set up a board game or pick up the guitar, depending on the mood. I enjoy these stretches when something pulls me in completely. I’m looking for a man who has his own things that absorb him and who doesn’t mind closeness in the evening without turning it into a demand. You don’t have to love gardening or board games, just be curious enough to ask how it went and share what pulls you in.
