Hey, I’m not perfect and I don’t pretend I always have everything under control – sometimes the day ends in a mess and instead of cleaning up I’d rather sit with a cup of tea watching my houseplants grow at their own pace. Restoring old furniture is my way of stepping away from daily life; I strip old paint layers, sand them down and discover what’s hidden underneath, then enjoy seeing something forgotten find its place again. On weekends I pack the tent and head out camping, where in the evening I cook something simple with local ingredients, because culinary travels are for me not just about taste but also an excuse for talking and laughing by the campfire. I try to stay honest through all of this, because without that nothing really makes sense. I have my routines, my work and people close to me, but I’m missing someone who’s also been through their share and is now simply ready to try being happy together.
