I often sit at the sewing machine, altering old curtains or making a simple cushion cover, with a row of plants beside me that I water during a podcast break. In the evenings I sometimes spread out a canvas and paint by numbers to clear my head, and on weekends I occasionally grab a racket for badminton in the park.
