I like having a plan for the week, but I happily drop everything when Asian spices fill the kitchen and the pot on the stove needs attention. After volunteering at the shelter, where the dogs always lift my mood, I often dive into rearranging the interior – moving furniture, changing the light, and suddenly the room feels like a new place. In the evening I play a few simple tunes on the guitar or go swimming to clear my head. In winter I dream of snowboarding and fresh powder.
